The game has been played millions of times within 24 hours of its release.
Simply titled Clap for Xi Jinping, the game was made by Tencent, one of the country's biggest social media firms, and owner of microblogging giant Weibo.
It's funny thinking about how this crowdsourced, virtual applause for Xi was possibly way more than he got IRL at his lengthy 3.5 hour speech.
Leaders in attendance yawned and dozed off during the marathon event.
Jiang Zemin, former president of China through the '90s, captured media attention as he checked his watch throughout the speech.
