Sources familiar with the matter said Tencent has contacted the family of Nexon’s late founder, Kim Jung-ju, to explore the possibility of a purchase. The family is said to be in discussions with advisers and evaluating their options. Founded in May 1995, Nexon is best known for hit titles such as Dave the Diver, Blue Archive, Dungeon & Fighter (DNF), KartRider, MapleStory, and Crazy Arcade.
