After a mass shooting like Orlando, brother sister sex video politicians, TV personalities and almost everyone on social media offer words of comfort and love in the face of tragedy.
However, as Samantha Bee says, "love does not win until we start loving each other enough to fix our f*cking problems."
SEE ALSO: John Oliver offers a touching message about the Orlando shootingOn Full Frontalon Monday, Bee delivered a strong speech, asking everyone to start demanding real, legislative solutions to America's gun violence problem.
"We can’t constitutionally get rid of all guns, but can’t we get semiautomatic assault rifles out of the hands of civilians?" she said. "Sam Bee wants to take your guns away! Yes — the ones that mow down a roomful of people in seconds. Yes, I do want to take those guns away."
During the segment, Bee mentions where legislation successfully brought down instances of gun violence, such as in Australia, which passed much stricter gun laws and hasn't had a mass shooting since 1996.
While Bee noted how words of comfort are somewhat helpful, her segment called for more common sense and action.
"Stop thinking and do somethingto improve our society," she said.
