Turns out that Ed Sheeran was telling the truth about his Game of Thronescameo, in which he appeared alongside Maisie Williams' Arya Stark, because even Game of Thronesstars are fans of stuff.
"I feel like my cameo’s been built up too much though, people will just be like 'Oh. Oh, alright,'" he told ET last month. "It’s not an integral part of it at all, I’m just, like… in it."
We all thought he was kidding when he revealed what he'd be doing during the scene in a radio interview: "I sing a song and then [Arya] goes, 'Oh, that's a nice song,' and I go, 'It's a new one,' and then there's other lines."
But that's pretty much exactly how it went -- bonus points for your honesty, Mr. S!

WhileGame of Throneshas trained us to be paranoid every time one of our beloved characters comes across a group of enemies, the scene is surprisingly humorous, with the soldiers complaining about the tedium of war and how frustrating it is to be separated from their families for months at a time, fighting for people who don't care about them.
