When there's something strange in your neighborhood corner of eroticism there's someone new we can call if it don't look good.
Braeden Rios, an 8-year-old from Iowa, got to live the ultimate Ghostbusters-fan dream by starring in his own Ghostbusters mini-movie.
SEE ALSO: Turns out that a 'Ghostbusters' monster was actually a real dinosaurThe whole act was put together by The For The Win Project, a nonprofit that helps kids reach their dreams of becoming their favorite superheroes. Rios has a condition known as bronchomalacia, but that didn't stop him from kicking butt in his movie.
In the spirit of Batkid, the Project brought the superfan out to Hollywood so they could make a short movie, complete with special effects and real props starring Braeden himself.
In the movie, Rios gets a call from Dan Aykroyd - I mean, legendary Ghostbuster Ray Stantz - to help save the west coast from the evil Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. And that's when he rolls into action.
It was a victory for Rios in the trailer, who clearly ain't afraid of no ghost.
In a Facebook post, The For The Win Project described what makes these projects so special for kids like Rios:
"We did all of these amazing things because we wanted Braeden to know he's awesome and remind him why we must always keep fighting. And on those dark days children like Braeden inevitably have, we wanted to give him something positive he can keep and cherish forever. "
Rios got a neat personal congrats video message from Ghostbusters fans from around the world. And he even got a shoutout from Paul Feig director of the rebooted Ghostbusters and Ivan Reitman, director of the classic films.
As Rios said: he came, he saw, he kicked its butt.
