"I've been traveling the world. Our election is an international issue," she explained in a tweet. "If 'he' wins we will be in a weak position globally."

As The Cutpointed out, her outfit features a trailing corset—a move that one tweeter noted might be directly referencing feminist writer Charlotte Perkins Gilman, who wrote about the constricting nature of corsets.

Gaga has been a vocal supporter of Clinton's campaign for the presidency, particularly on Twitter where she has been encouraging her fans to mobilize and vote for the first female candidate nominated by a major party.
