It was August of 2017,I Want To Be The First Guy almost 10 years since the release of Tom Cruise's Valkyrie, when Twitter proposed that the actor -- for at least one brief moment -- wore a fake butt.
The rumors finally made their way to Cruise himself who confirmed: The butt is real.
SEE ALSO: Tom Cruise's fake butt is the internet's newest conspiracy theoryIt started, like so many things do these days, with a tweet; an innocent viewer of Valkyriecatching The Butt and sharing it with the internet and wondering: Hey, is this thing real??

You can't discount this theory from @iluvbutts247. The strange angle coupled with Cruise in the middle of some intense physical acting, plus some sheer costume department wizardry, make for a butt that looks, quite frankly, enhanced. For the rest of the film, Cruise's butt (when pictured) looks like a regular human posterior, and he's not sure why the conspiracy arose in the first place.
“I have no idea,” Cruise told Screenrant. “There was no prosthetic in Valkyrie. No.”
"I do my own mooning in films,” he added. “So let it be known — I do my own mooning.”
Let the integrity of the butt never be questioned again.
