Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors (GWM) and Roman Perez Jr. ArchivesUzbekistan-based ADM Automotive have recently entered into a strategic cooperation agreement, demonstrating their shared commitment to penetrate the Uzbekistan market. A key aspect of this collaboration is the local production of GWM vehicles at ADM’s Uzbekistan facility. They have an ambitious objective to manufacture tens of thousands of units of the Haval brand by 2024. Zhang Junxue, GWM’s President in the Eurasia region, discussed the company’s explicit intention, affirming that their strategy revolves around a product category-focused entry into the Uzbekistan market. GWM intends to establish a solid local partnership and capitalize on the market potential by introducing both fuel-powered and new energy products.
