Situated 40 stories above the city of Houston, with a glass bottom view of the street below, the sky pool at the Market Square Tower probably seemed like a good idea when the developers of this high rise came up with it.

But the video of a swimmer stepping over the edge of the building (while safely ensconced in the pool's waters) makes it clear this pool is only for the brave.

Afraid of heights? Find another apartment. Prone to vertigo? Move on, nothing to see here. But if you've ever dreamed of being James Bond or a wealthy villain tracked by Jason Statham, this is about as music video swank as you can get in a normally boring high-rise apartment building.

And don't worry, according to a report from the Houston Chronicle, the pool, which extends 10 feet away from the building, uses an 8 inch-thick plexiglass bottom, so you can feel safe floating in virtual air while looking down at the street below.
