Apple has launched a microsite for its new iPhone XS and Tina Tyler ArchivesXS Max, and it features a tiny 3D model of said devices which you can rotate simply by tilting your phone left and right.
The microsite, located at http://experience.apple/iphone/ (unearthed by 9to5Mac), is mobile-only; if you open it in a desktop browser you'll be asked to go to Apple's main site. It only works in Chrome and Safari, and it works on both iPhone and Android smartphones.
You can also see both devices in all three colors: silver, black and gold, and compare their screen sizes with other recent iPhone models.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
Besides the rotating thing, which is pretty cute, especially if you know you'll never be able to actually afford the new iPhones, the microsite is notable as it uses Apple's top-level domain (TLD). This is why the site has a somewhat unusual format: "experience.apple," in which .apple is the TLD name, just like .com, .net or .org. Apple hasn't been using its TLD much; perhaps the iPhone XS campaign signals this will change in the future.
