Anyone who's had the pleasure of flying in the last few years knows that although it's generally the fastest way to get somewhere far away,Fantasy Archives air travel can easily turn into a terrible experience. Horror stories range from unruly passengers to mistreatment from airlines. But what you're about to see may scar you for life, so please proceed with caution.
Self-described "regular person" Jessica Char was expecting to take a regular JetBlue flight from Long Beach to San Francisco on Tuesday. What she experienced was anything but normal.

It's right up there with being upgraded to first class!" Char wrote in an email. "I even left all the arm rests up so I could live it up on my private bench in the sky. A few minutes in, one of the arm rests came crashing down. I looked over, figuring there was a loose hinge."

As you may have guessed, the hinge was not loose.
"A few moments later, a foot slowly emerged like a lizard hatching from an egg and seeing its first light of day," Char explained. "Just beyond that: another foot. I leaned back close to my chair to snap a picture without being seen in between the seats."

Yes. This person put their nasty, bare feet all over the arm rest. It is not a foot rest. It is an ARM rest.
Things got worse.

Impressive? Yes. Disgusting? Definitely.
"As I logged onto the airplane Wi-Fi to post this monstrosity I saw the foot reach over to open and shut the window," Char wrote.
Char says she tried to get the attention of the flight attendant, but by the time the attendant got there, "the feet slowly retracted back into the abyss of row six."
Now, no matter how clean your feet may be, they are never clean enough to touch something that another person will inevitably touch with their hands. The poor person who sits in this seat next will likely have foot residue all over their hands. And then there's the foot-in-your-face discomfort Char had to endure on her flight.
Making things worse, Char explains that the foot offender was somewhat shorter woman, who was seated in an "even more space" row, which should have made for plenty of leg room.
Twitter agreed, never ever do this.

As for Char, she said she was doing OK, despite the potentially life-altering horror of the situation.
