The Watch Pepaya Gantung Onlineflip-flop (or "thongs," if you're Aussie) may be one of the world's most derided sandals, but in the hands of the right woman, it's a deadly weapon.
Footage from Cahill's Crossing on East Alligator River in Kakadu Park, Australia, show an angry crocodile just feet away from a very calm woman. While most people in this situation would rationally respond by fleeing, this woman decided to take justice (and a flip-flop) into her own hands.
SEE ALSO: In defense of the flip-flopAs the crocodile approaches the woman and her tiny, defenseless dog, this woman raises her flip-flop and shakes it as the naughty little croc.
Strangely enough, the tactic works. Perhaps the crocodile was so afraid that other river creatures would shame him for being beat by a rubber shoe, so he chose to take the safe route and swim away.
There are an estimated 120 crocodiles in this stretch of the East Alligator River.
Watch and learn.
