It's not every day you get to celebrate turning 21,fashion and eroticism ideals of feminine beauty julie broadwin the legal drinking age in America. It's extremely not every day that you get to do so as a woman who was actually born more than eight decades ago.
That was the case for Arlene Manko, who was born on Feb. 29 1936. Because it lands on Leap Day, this means Manko only technically has a birthday every four years. Meaning she was five "years" old when she got married. And on Feb. 29 2020, the (actual) 84-year-old celebrated having her "first ever" legal drink with the help of Ryan Reynolds and Aviation Gin.

Clearly wise beyond her years, Manko didn't mince words about the hardship of not being able to legally drink throughout adulthood, while raising seven (and I repeat: seven)children. "I'm ready to party," she concluded. And party she did.
Forget Leap Day, Arlene, we'll celebrate you any day.
