Lyft is doing its part to help those who need assistance with rides by offering a discount valid on Nov. 5 only, so if you're thinking about using the rideshare service to exercise your right to vote, you can save some cash by doing so.

As of Nov. 4, you can save 50% on your Election Day rides to the polls by using Lyft. Just use promo code VOTE24 when requesting your ride or preload the code and schedule it ahead of time. It's valid from 5 AM to 10 PM in every time zone and you can use it on a rideshare, bikeshare, or scooter ride – it's up to you.
