According to China’s state-run media outlet CCTV,USA Archives the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced on the evening of April 11 a comprehensive exemption list, removing smartphones, routers, and certain computers and laptops from the previously imposed 125% reciprocal tariff on Chinese imports. Apple products — including iPhones, Macs, iPads, and Apple Watches — are exempt from both the 125% tariff on Chinese goods and the 10% reciprocal tariff on products from other countries. Other exempted electronics include Nvidia GPUs, semiconductors and related manufacturing equipment, solid-state drives (SSDs), display panels, and a wide range of televisions. [IThome, in Chinese]
