The celebrity fucking - Watch Hot celebrities fucking videosend is nigh for Game of Thrones, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, a.k.a. Jaime Lannister, reminisced about some of his favorite moments from the series, specifically a couple scenes from Season 7.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Coster-Waldau said that two Season 7 scenes in particular stood out to him -- both in his own enjoyment and how they showed Jaime's character development.
SEE ALSO: 'Game of Thrones' director talks Dany and Jon’s uncertain futureThe episode "The Queen's Justice" features a scene between Jaime and Olenna Tyrell (played by Dame Diana Rigg) in which Jaime has been tasked with executing Olenna by his sister Cersei (Lena Headey). Instead of a death-by-sword scenario, Jaime offers Olenna a bottle of poison for a quick, painless death, which she takes and then reveals she was the one who poisoned his son Joffrey right before she died.
“It was a great scene,” Coster-Waldau told ET. “[Jaime] had to do what he had to do, but he did it with such grace. But of course, the beauty of the scene is that at the very end, she flips the power dynamic. It was very thrilling to be a part of Diana’s last scene on Thrones.”
The other scene that stood out to Coster-Waldau was the one where Jaime turns down Cersei in the Season 7 finale "The Dragon and the Wolf," showing a major arc for Jaime who was previously unable to resist Cersei.
“We had seven years to build up to this moment where he finally says no to her," Coster-Waldau told ET. "His whole life has been about trying to navigate around her and protect her and do whatever he could to do to be there for her. Now, suddenly, he can’t do what she wants him to do. She’s overstepped her boundaries, and clearly they have been stretching, but this time something snapped."
“Working with Lena has always been a joy,” he added.
During the interview, Coster-Waldau was unable to reveal anything about the upcoming final season, but did note his and Headey's surprise that their characters have made it thus far.
“I was talking to Lena about this before we both found out. I was going, ‘At this point, now that we’re so close, you just want to make it to the end,’” Coster-Waldau said in the interview. “If you had gone out in season three or four, it would have been fine. But now, we’re so close. It was definitely a relief to be a part of it.”
