Harry Potter illustrator Jim Kay is behind the interactive experience, available only through Amazon and the company's Kindle platforms and devices. Harry Potter fan site Pottermore previewed the cover with the Hogwarts Express covered in smoke and an owl flapping its wings.
J.K. Rowling's 1997 book is all still there, but now moving goblins, flying quidditch players, and an illustrated Diagon Alley add to the story.
This isn't the first attempt to bring some extra magic to the fantasy books. The entire seven-part series was turned into an illustrated iBook package back in 2015.
