Barkalow pulled up to assist the motorcyclist and was surprised to meet Springsteen -- a native of Freehold Borough -- whose bike had broken down.
Springsteen hopped on the back of Bailey's bike, and the veterans escorted the musician to a nearby restaurant, where they shared a round of beers and waited for Springsteen's ride home.
"Dan stated that Bruce was a very down to earth regular guy who fit right in with his fellow, not so famous, Freehold boys," the post reads. "Bruce did take their names and telephone numbers, so maybe they'll be riding together some day!"
"It was nice to help out," Barkalow told NBC 4 New York. "One Freehold person helping out another."
