It's hard to say how useful all of this is in real life usages but it's definitely a unique feature, and that's commendable in today's world of copycat smartphones.
The rest of the specs on these phones are top-notch as well. The Meizu Pro 7 Plus is a 5.7-inch device with MediaTek's new Helio X30 10-core processor, 6GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage, and a 3,500mAh battery.
The Pro 7 has a 5.2-inch screen and is based on an older MediaTek chip, the Helio X25, has only 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage.
Both phones have Sony's dual 12-megapixel cameras with an f/2.0 aperture on the back, and a 16-megapixel selfie cam on the front. They're also equipped with a Cirrus Logic CS43130 Hi-Fi chip that should provide great sound -- and yes, they both have headphone jacks.
The Meizu Pro 7 Plus will come in four colors: black, shiny black, silver and gold. Its smaller cousin will be available in black, gold and red.
Meizu told Mashableboth variants of the phone will be available internationally in September, with some of the markets being Russia, Ukraine, Spain, Italy, France, Indonesia. The price has not yet been announced.
